Tara Koot
This chick you can describe as crazy, active and funny. Tara loves to dance, especially when the DJ plays Christina Aguilera’s ‘Dirty’. With her active attitude, she’sa great contribution to our sorority. Besides that, her passion lies in baking. Having her own cupcake bakery is one of her great dreams for the future. Unfortunately we have to miss those creative skills at the moment, since Tara is currently doing her placement in London.
Charlotte Sauter
Though she’s currently our youngest member, she’s one of our most considerate members. She always thinks about other people’s feelings. This makes her a great and loyal friend. It certainly doesn’t mean that she’s boring. After a day with Charlotte, your cheeks will hurt from laughing. Together with Tara, she’s currently doing her placement in London. We suspect that next to that she’s writing the book ‘bindingsangst for dummies’..
Milou Swagemakers
Milou is another case of still waters run deep. Milou, within Sorority NYX also known as Mimi, is a smart, sweet and fun blondie. Besides being a NYX member, Milou has another big hobby, which is shopping. Together with Bibiche, she has a secret obsession for handbags. Currently Mimi is on placement in Paris, checking out some cute French boys..

Bibiche van den Bersselaar – Convivium committee
Bibiche aka Bibi is hilarious to be around and very open to all. She sometimes has the problem of speaking without thinking, but with her contagious laugh she soon makes us all forget. With a vibrant always positive and active attitude she is not to miss during a night out! She currently lives in Belgium with her parents but crosses back and forth in her very own peugeot! Although the commute; Bibi makes it a priority to always be present and without her, she is missed, so we all appreciate it! Bibi is now in her second year and planning on starting her placement in the beautiful Barcelona together with Alex.
Alexandra Simonse – Vice-Praeses
Alex is another young member but don’t let that fool you, responsible, honest with great ideas and caring attitude as Vice-Praeses Alex is not to be missed! Alex loves to dance in the club and with her moves and smile it’s hard not to watch her and join in! She loves a glass of wine or beer, the sunshine and no matter where we are or go she can always make the best of any situation. Her fun loving attitude is always present! Alex is also in her second year and will be planning on going to Barcelona for her placement! We wish her the best of luck!
Nina Vogels – Ab-actis
Nina is a ray of sunshine! Just returning from curaçao she brought the sunshine back with her and is always easy to find in the city of Breda! Nina works hard but parties harder and always makes us laugh with her honest attitude and “to the point” comments. Her contagious laugh never gets old and we always enjoy her company during meetings and activities! Nina is currently in her third year and is getting ready to complete her course, by starting her last placement. But no matter her busy schedule, we can always count on her!
Karianne Wesselink – Quasi committee
Kari is our very own gossip girl, as she knows everything and everyone. No matter where we are, we will always be kept up to date with new gossip! Karianne is always very open to all and can strike up a conversation with anyone! She is a fun loving person with a personality to match. Kari is often to be found in the city and around people. Dancing, drinking and “what’s-apping” are only some of her many talents! Connected to her phone Kari is never hard to find and we can always count on her to come along. Kari will be going on placement to Aruba for her second year!

Milou Opgenoord – Questor
Milou is another kind of international member; coming all the way from the deep south Limburg! Just returning from New Zealand we can see a mature and grown up Milou has returned! She is always in for a talk and is there for you when you need her, just a phone call away. Count on her to bring the wine! Milou travels everyday back to Limburg to stay close to her boyfriend. Always present at meetings and events Milou keeps quite at first but with a glass of wine and good company she can open up! Milou is currently in her third year working on her last course to compete the year.

Renee Holten – Praeses
Renee is the oldest goddess but definitely not the least active one! After living with her parents in Africa and the USA, she crossed the ocean on her own to settle in Breda. Renee is always in for a party, a dinner or just hanging out with friends and wine. She is a funny girl that can be a little emotional from time to time. Her friendly face and smile make others happy. She definitely has some mojo going on as well. She just came back from her placement in Shanghai and will be our Praeses for the upcoming board year!
Melissa van de Put – Quasi committee
Melissa seems to be the quiet one of the bunch but still waters run deep. She is always present at parties and she lives in her own fantasy world when being drunk. Her dreamy dark eyes and contagious laugh make all of us laugh. Melissa never complaints and she is a good listener. She’s a bit of a shopaholic though! She just came back from her 2nd year placement at Mallorca, and we are very happy to enjoy her presence again!

Marleen Dekkers – Honorus Dignus
Marleen is a laidback goddess that lives life at her own pace. She knows how to party hardy and together with Leoni she forms the party team of NYX. Her six months placement in London was one big party as well and she continues this way of living here in Breda. She likes to dress up for parties especially with Carnival and she definitely has the biggest mojo of NYX although she will not agree. Next to this party side, Marleen also has a social, caring and honest side.

Anna Versteeg
Anna is a direct goddess who will share her opinion no matter what. She is definitely a go-getter. Even though she’s currently doing her 4th year internship in Rotterdam, she is often present at Wednesday evening and other parties, since she loves having fun with the girls. She is not afraid of a little adventure, and she loves going abroad, so last summer she worked in Canada and the summer before in Kos. She’s a great contribution to our sorority and had a board function for several years, including preases in 2011.

Leoni Bekken – Honorus Dignus
Leoni is the craziest goddess of NYX. If you need her, just look around in the city centre of Breda and you will find her drinking beer in one of the bars. She definitely knows how to party; she even has a dance named after her. Sorority NYX missed her presence for one year due to two placements in South Africa but she is back in Breda to enjoy the NYX life again. With her IHMS diploma in her pocket Leoni is ready to conquer the world, hopefully a little closer to home this time otherwise we will miss out on a lot of cookies and cake!
Michelle van Hemsbergen – Honorus Dignus
Michelle is the “mother figure” of NYX since she always takes care of everybody. After working in the Hilton hotel in Rotterdam for six hectic months, she graduated last year and is now busy working at Best Western Art Hotel in Rotterdam. When being in Breda, this blonde likes to drink baileys at parties and she really likes to celebrate Carnival. She comes from a caring family and she still lives with her parents in Made where she takes care of her younger sisters and her horses. She still joins us for some activities such as celebrating NYE, Carnival and some 21-dinners where we catch up and enjoy her presence!
Iris Huisman – Honorus Dignus
Iris is the most direct goddess of the bunch. She says what she thinks and she couldn’t care less what others might think of her. Once you become her friend, she will stay loyal to you. Iris likes to party, and Carnival is her all time favorite! She likes to eat good food and she is always talking about food as well. She would even marry a “bitterbal”! After graduating this year, she’s now working at the Apollo hotel in The Hague. Luckily we still get to see her at most of weekend activities!
Carolien Jansing
Carolien is the funniest goddess of NYX because she says things without thinking first; this definitely matches her blond hair but she couldn’t care less what others might think of her. She loves to party and she knows how to shake her booty on R&B and Reggaeton. Carolien likes to talk and she is very caring. Due to this she probably has the highest telephone bills of our sorority. Currently she’s on her 4th-year placement in Utrecht.
Lous van Prooijen
Lous is the smallest goddess of NYX but do not underestimate her. This “horeca” diehard from Dordt knows how to combine working and partying. She still can be found in the bars of Breda after dawn. Lous loves living the good life, which includes good food, drinks and boys of course. After doing her placement at the famous W hotel in Barcelona, she came back to Breda for another period of being a very active NYX goddess. Last board year she was our Praeses for the second time. Sorority NYX thanks Lous for her continuous presence and effort!
Claire van Rhijn – Honorus Dignus
Claire has the driest humor of all goddesses and she is always in for a good honest talk with some food and wine. She might look arrogant but once you know her, she is the nicest down-to-earth girl ever. After graduating from the IHMS, she started travelling in Australia together with her boyfriend, who she met during her internship in South Africa. After having a great time there she’s now back in the Netherlands!
Karlien Sol – Honorus Dignus
Karlien can be described as being a typical hockey girl; she loves hockey, parties, beer and boys. Especially boys in uniforms are her favorite. After her wild internship at Curacao, she kept on partying in Breda. She always put her best foot forward by being an active member of Xenia and of course a goddess of our sorority. After her placement in Amsterdam, she graduated and got a great job offer in New Zealand. Since then we unfortunately have to miss her, but gladly we can stay in touch via e-mail, Facebook and Skype!
